Now, instead of using GitHub and Working Copy, I'm using tools that should be more accessible to a wider range of folks. I sat down to make a video of the process and realized that my flow could be simplified. I tweeted about my process and there was a lot of interest from people wanting to do the same thing. Then using Zapier, I was fetching that file and manipulating it. I was using iA Writer to create content and then was committing it to GitHub with the app Working Copy. After tinkering around for a bit, I found a process that worked for me. The more I used my iPad, the more I started wondering about the possibilities of incorporating it into my content creation process. In fact, I even have a podcast where we talk about no-code every week. If you know me at all, you'll know something else I love is Webflow and no-code tools. I tried Bear, but the way it handled Markdown was frustrating to me at times. I prefer writing with iA Writer due to my love of writing with Markdown. I've had plenty of cases and even keyboard cases before, but I had never considered typing on an iPad to be super enjoyable.īut, when I picked up my iPad Pro (12.9 inch model) I was shocked to find out how much I loved typing on it. When I'm working on a project or trying to integrate something new, I love being able to lounge around anywhere in my house and still have the freedom to comb through the details.īut, one thing I wasn't expecting to do on my iPad is write. When I'm trying to learn something new, I prefer video courses. It allows me to read and consume content outside of books too. I like reading books on an iPad screen much more than using a Kindle.
